Empower Signs Contract for Major District Cooling Expansion at Dubai Science Park

Dubai, UAE – Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s leading district cooling provider, has signed a contract to design a cutting-edge district cooling plant at Dubai Science Park.

The new facility will feature a total capacity of 47,000 Refrigeration Tons (RT) and is expected to serve nearly 80 mixed-use buildings, including commercial, residential, and research facilities. Construction is scheduled to begin by the end of Q1 2026, supporting Empower’s growth strategy to meet rising demand for sustainable cooling solutions across Dubai.
