Dubai Chamber Accelerates 308 Digital Startups in First Half of 2025
Dubai, UAE – August 19, 2025: Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy announced that 308 tech startups were supported in the first half of 2025, representing a 39% year-on-year growth compared to 221 startups in H1 2024. The results underline Dubai’s growing status as a global hub for digital business and entrepreneurship.

Driving Global Tech Expansion from Dubai
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, emphasized that Dubai is creating an integrated digital ecosystem to support entrepreneurs.
“Our goal is to strengthen Dubai’s appeal as a launchpad for digital companies and global technology investors,” he said. “These results show how quickly the city is advancing its digital economy and positioning itself as a key player in the future global economy.”
Expanding Global Partnerships
Vice President Saeed Al Gergawi confirmed that the chamber hosted 10 industry events and 15 international roadshows during the first half of 2025. The roadshows promoted Dubai’s competitive advantages and introduced pitch competitions, where winners secured spots at Expand North Star 2025, the world’s largest event for startups and investors.
