Dubai Police Introduce 2025–2026 Back-to-School Safety and Awareness Plan

Dubai Police have rolled out a comprehensive back-to-school security strategy for the 2025–2026 academic year under their “School Security” initiative. The program is designed to safeguard students, teachers, and parents while promoting awareness of safety protocols across schools in Dubai.

The plan was announced at a press conference at Al Jaddaf Officers Club, attended by key figures including:

- Lieutenant Colonel Dr Ali Al Matroushi, Director of Child and Women Protection

Dr Brigadier Al Maamari highlighted that under the guidance of Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, the force aims to create a safer, more interactive educational environment. Field teams will visit 71 schools, including Hemaya institutions, engaging students and parents to enhance security and community awareness.

- Safety Ambassadors program

Student Engagement and Activities
Captain Majid bin Saaed Al Kaabi emphasized building trust between students, parents, and police. The program includes:
- 18 interactive events
- Road safety awareness, including crossing only at designated areas
- Introduction to Dubai Police services and communication channels
- Fun activities with the police mascot “Mansour”
- Distribution of gifts and school supplies
Captain Al Kaabi concluded:
