PCFC Reports Record-Breaking Growth in Smart Traffic Enforcement, H1 2025

The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) has announced a landmark achievement in smart traffic enforcement during the first half of 2025, reporting a 401% increase in processed violations compared to Q1. The initiative also achieved a 60.4% response rate, setting a new benchmark in institutional security and compliance management.
Strategic Transformation in Enforcement
According to Sultan Al Malik, Director of PCFC’s Security Department, this performance reflects a shift from traditional reactive responses to a proactive, AI-driven enforcement model.
He highlighted that the Security Control and Command Division has become a regional leader in using advanced technology, data analytics, and predictive systems to ensure compliance and safety across Dubai’s free zones. Operating 24/7, the division enforces regulations on traffic, environmental protection, and infrastructure while maintaining global best practices.
Key Achievements in H1 2025
During the first six months of 2025, the Division recorded:
- 1,971 violations handled
- Abandoned vehicles
- Illegal waste disposal
- Unauthorized land use
- 992 cases resolved successfully
- 100% environmental response rate within 48–72 hours
- Zero critical incidents recorded

At the end of H1 2025, 651 cases remained active (39.6% of total), divided into three categories:
