Israeli Airstrikes Kill 68 Palestinians in Gaza Within 24 Hours

GAZA, September 6, 2025 – Israeli airstrikes on Gaza killed 68 Palestinians and injured 362 others in the past 24 hours, according to medical officials.

The updated figures show a steep rise in civilian deaths as the conflict continues. Local health authorities reported that since October 7, 2023, a total of 64,368 Palestinians have been killed and 162,367 injured. Most of the victims are women and children.

Food insecurity is worsening. Six Palestinians, including one child, died from starvation in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of starvation-related deaths to 382, including 135 children.

The Israeli army issued fresh evacuation warnings for residents of the Al-Susi Tower, the Al-Ru’ya Building, and nearby shelters in Gaza City. The move signals further strikes on remaining high-rise structures and intensifies pressure on residents to flee south.
