Filipino Expat in UAE Wins Dh100,000 on Just His Second Lottery Attempt
For over 14 years, Richard Remolacio, a Filipino dental technician in the UAE, has been creating smiles for others. Last weekend, it was his turn to smile after winning Dh100,000 in the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day draw — and it happened on just his second time playing.
“I have won Dh100,000,” Richard said with a big grin. “I didn’t expect it at all.”
A Lucky Second Try
Richard, 35, was one of only two winners in the Lucky Day category. He claimed the third prize by matching five ‘Days’ numbers and one ‘Month’ number.
He had known about the UAE Lottery for a while, which is run under the slogan “Dare to Imagine” and is famous for offering the largest prize pool in the country.
