Abu Dhabi Waives Parking & Toll Fees This Friday for Prophet’s Birthday

The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has declared that public parking (Mawaqif) and Darb toll gates across Abu Dhabi will be free of charge on Friday, September 5, 2025, in celebration of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.

  • No parking fees: All Mawaqif zones across the capital will be free on Friday.
  • No toll charges: Darb toll gates will also remain free for the day.
  • Normal operations: Standard parking rules and toll charges will resume on Saturday, September 6, 2025.
