RTA Launches Academic Scholarship Programme for 2025–2026

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially launched its Academic Scholarship Programme for the 2025–2026 academic year, aiming to nurture national talent and prepare skilled Emirati professionals for the city’s transport and infrastructure sectors. This year, 20 students have been selected to benefit from the initiative.

Supporting National Talent and Emiratisation Goals

The programme forms part of RTA’s wider strategy to support Emiratisation and ensure a qualified workforce for the future. Scholarship recipients will receive guidance on career paths at RTA and discover how their education can be applied to innovative projects that enhance Dubai’s transport services.

Top UAE Universities and Fields of Study

Selected students will pursue degrees at leading UAE institutions, including the American University of Sharjah, University of Sharjah, University of Dubai, Zayed University, and the Higher Colleges of Technology. Key fields of study include:

  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Intelligent Systems Engineering
  • Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Civil and Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics and Robotics
  • Information Systems and Business Analytics

These areas are critical to supporting RTA’s operational plans and future infrastructure projects, ensuring graduates are equipped with globally competitive skills.
