Three Women Detained in Dubai for Performing Unlicensed Cosmetic Procedures

Dubai Police have apprehended three women for conducting illegal cosmetic treatments in a private apartment, raising serious concerns about public safety and compliance with UAE medical laws.

The arrests were made by the Anti-Economic Crime Department in coordination with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Police received a tip-off about suspicious cosmetic activities, which led to a raid where authorities confiscated medical equipment and unauthorized medications.

The three suspects are now referred to the public prosecution for legal proceedings. Officials emphasized that performing medical or cosmetic procedures outside licensed facilities poses significant health risks to clients and violates UAE regulations.

Authorities Warning and Public Guidance

Dubai Police reminded residents to:

  • Use licensed clinics and verified professionals for medical or cosmetic procedures.
  • Avoid deals or treatments in unlicensed locations, which may endanger life.
  • Report illegal medical activities via the “Police Eye” service or by calling 901.

The police reaffirmed their commitment to cracking down on unlicensed medical practices and safeguarding community health and safety in Dubai.
